I would totally purchase a set of said business cards and hand them out to strangers in lieu of introducing myself normally.

DON’T YOU WISH THAT WAS AN OPTION THOUGH, just wipe clean all the anxiety of making a first impression, i would enjoy that so much 

also, then i could make another set of cards that said “hello i am sure you are very interesting but i have never laid eyes on you before, i am busy, and these headphones were meant to dissuade you from doing what you’re doing, please leave me alone,” which would solve like SO MANY OF MY PROBLEMS IN LIFE
