Tags: WHY IS THIS SO FUNNY true story though: so my father likes to recount Conversations He Has Had where he feels as though he has communicated an essential point about himself and poss his favorite one to tell is the one about how every time he goes to the dentist they are like 'are you flossing?' and he is like 'no' and they are like 'you should be flossing' and he is like 'i know' and they are like 'what if we give you some floss' and he is like 'i will take it but only if it makes you feel better' 'you know i don't floss; i know i don't floss; we all know i will not magically start flossing' he feels as though it is wrong to lie to them i feel as though it is unsurprising that he has had any number of different dentists since i was a child
